Women in our life play a highly significant part. They are usually considered as the backbone of our society and rightly so, as they bring love, support & strength to a family. Any woman, be a mother, grandmother, daughter or sister does her role quite well with utmost perfection & sheer affection. A woman always binds her family. So its obvious that sans the presence of a woman, a man can't live his life, neither a family can run merrily.
However, there has been a prolonged notion from the very inception that our society is more of a male dominated or men oriented one and women are merely a second fiddle to men in every sphere. It isn't exactly a hiccup but if this perception leads to a disturbance in woman's life then things go worse. Men shouldn't in any way, make wrong or misappropriate use of this terrible notion of the society. Women have invariably been important and especially in today's time they run hand in hand with men in almost all aspects. The value & essence of a woman should be admired by all. But the things happening around women at present are sadly excruciating and immensely disturbing. Various forms of heinous offences like rape, culpable homicide, molestation, assault n exploitation against women have ironically become a common phenomena in the country today. All these crimes produce a great nuisance everywhere and raise a few vital questions as - 'Why can't a woman move freely anywhere alone?' 'Are Women really safe in our country?' and most particularly, 'Why regular & up to date actions are not taken against the wrongdoers?'.
These questions remain unanswered even though several laws regarding the protection of women have been enacted recently. Its a good move by our law makers but still something is lacking somewhere. And apart from the legal point, all humans backed by the society must take the responsibility to eradicate crimes that are arising against women.
Women are there to be loved and respected. Those who disrespect, devalue, beat, hurt & harm women are never the real men rather they are the worst ever unsocial living creatures exist in this universe. No one should forget that women contribute a lot to the society and so in every way its our prime moral duty to impart them what they utterly deserve. And they truly deserve their worth. It's high time everyone should realize this and justify their existence.
